Here are some comments from previous courses:
Voiceover: “I would like to thank you for the great workshop. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I certainly didn't expect your workshop to prove useful so early, but on Wednesday they offered me my first voiceover job. What a coincidence! I agreed straight away, because I was so excited to have my first opportunity already! They had estimated we would take 2 hours to record my part, but we only took 45 mins. They liked it so much that they couldn't believe I had never done it before. They even said they would like to work with me in the future! But I must say that I owe it all to you. It's all those little tips you shared with us that helped me so much. Also, I think I was well prepared, because I knew what to expect and that helped me not get too nervous.”
"I've just returned from the Voiceover for Beginners course. The course content as well as Daniel's teaching was up to a very high standard and I greatly enjoyed spending a day at his studio."
Trados Level 1: "The trainer is great. She is very clear, positive, uses the software herself, thus she can understand what problems one may encounter. I really enjoyed it.
We did not just have some theory, but the most important thing for me was the practice. I had a document that I had to translate and she showed me how to do it with Trados and I did it. I never thought that I could start using it after one day course, but I did.
Of course I cannot say that I am familiar with it and that I know everything, but I am definitely much more positive about it. She showed me the potential that Trados has (also providing me with practical examples) and helped me understand that this is a really good tool that can enable me to save precious time.
I will definitely stick to it and go on practising."
Translation and Editing for Polish translators: "The course was truly inspirational!"
Working as a Project Manager: "Roberto was amazing; he gave a fantastic lecture on the PM’s translation workflow. He was very happy to answer all the questions and made sure that everything was clear to us. The course itself is well structured, handouts are very handy with space for notes provided, as well as very useful checklists after each chapter"
